The role
Lead underwriting, structuring, and execution of structured financings for specialty real estate finance platforms and RE-backed loan portfolios.
Research asset classes and markets to inform trading views and transaction underwriting, structuring, and risk management.
Coordinate due diligence with third-party advisers and legal counsels to ensure comprehensive transaction execution.
Model transactions across origination, underwriting, and post-closing phases, monitoring lifecycle performance.
Collaborate with client coverage teams to identify opportunities, generate ideas, and prepare internal approval memos.
Support credit risk and control functions throughout the transaction lifecycle, ensuring compliance and robust controls.
