The role
An experienced electrical and mechanical engineer is sought to maintain and repair manufacturing machinery in Manchester. The role involves planned preventative and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, diagnosing machinery breakdowns, and identifying improvements to optimise equipment performance. Candidates should possess relevant engineering or electrical qualifications or apprenticeships, along with strong maintenance experience in manufacturing environments. Skills in fault diagnosis, independent working, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook are essential. The position requires a proactive approach, attention to detail, and the ability to support the engineering team effectively. This is a full-time, in-person role offering a salary from £45,000 per year.
