The role
A manufacturing company in Newton Aycliffe is seeking a Factory Operative responsible for surface preparation, equipment maintenance, quality inspection, shot blasting, manual handling, assembly, and coating application. Candidates should have a positive attitude, willingness to learn, confidence, and preferably experience in powder coating, although full training will be provided. The role involves working within a team environment and adhering to safety and quality standards. The position offers a full-time contract, with hours from Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 6:15 pm, at an hourly rate of £12.21. Candidates must demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to undertake physical tasks in a manufacturing setting.
