The role
A factory operative position is available for work on a manufacturing site in Newton Aycliffe. The role involves prepping product surfaces, setting up and maintaining spray booth equipment, conducting quality inspections, shot blasting, manual handling, assembling fittings, applying coatings, and reporting defects. Candidates should have a positive attitude, willingness to learn, confidence, and preferably experience in powder coating, although full training will be provided. Working hours are Monday to Thursday, from 08:00 to 18:15, with a pay rate of £12.21 per hour. This role offers onsite parking, potential career progression, and the opportunity for permanent employment after probation.
