The role
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer on the Search Algorithm team, you will drive end-to-end ML-driven improvements to search quality at scale.
You will own core systems for query understanding, result ranking, and query recommendation, translating product goals into robust ML solutions.
Design and optimize real-time algorithms and data pipelines to serve billions of search requests daily while prioritizing reliability.
Provide technical leadership, shape strategy, and mentor teammates on ML, information retrieval, and distributed systems best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product objectives into measurable ML components and monitor impact on user engagement.
Contribute to scalable architectures, code quality, and the long-term roadmap for search quality, recall, and system robustness.
