The role
Provide hands-on legal support by structuring, drafting, negotiating, and enforcing complex commercial transactions, including SaaS licenses, software licenses, MSAs, and SOWs.
Counsel management and sales teams on corporate, commercial, IP, privacy, regulatory, and dispute issues affecting software offerings and customer relationships.
Advise on data protection, cybersecurity, marketing terms, and cross-border expansion, ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Build strong relationships with sales and business leaders, drive consistency in legal standards, and translate complex legal concepts into practical business terms.
Oversee outside counsel in a cost-effective manner and collaborate with global legal and compliance teams on cross-border matters.
Lead, mentor, and manage direct reports while supporting strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
