The role
Manage daily posting and scheduling for the California Post's social accounts across platforms, ensuring timely, top-stories coverage.
Write, edit, and tailor posts to maximize engagement and reach, leveraging platform-specific best practices.
Monitor real-time analytics to inform publishing decisions and drive growth with data-driven adjustments.
Develop creative social-first ideas, stay ahead of trends, and partner with editorial teams to amplify coverage.
Produce and edit short-form on-camera video content and promotional clips for social platforms.
Collaborate with teams, engage with audiences, and adapt to shifting news demands—including evenings, weekends, and breaking news when needed, on-site in Pico Rivera.
