The role
A Registered Nurse (RGN) provides comprehensive nursing care to adults with high acuity and complex health needs, assessing and developing personalised care plans. The role involves safe medication administration, promoting health and wellbeing, and managing challenging behaviours, with a focus on independence and dignity. Nurses are expected to demonstrate clinical proficiency, knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Mental Capacity Act, and teamwork skills in a supportive environment. They may act as Nurse in Charge during shifts, ensuring quality care standards are maintained. The position requires a valid NMC PIN and experience or qualification suitable for adult nursing, mental health, or learning disabilities.
