The role
A senior estimator in civil engineering will lead and manage tender estimate preparations, review technical documentation, produce detailed cost assessments, analyse quotations, identify risks and opportunities, and develop competitive pricing strategies. The role involves working closely with different teams, including operational and planning units, to develop construction methodologies and tender programmes. The candidate will contribute to bid strategies and support early contractor involvement, while maintaining relationships with clients and supply chain partners. Strong experience in highways, infrastructure, or public realm projects and knowledge of procurement processes are essential. Effective stakeholder management and a proactive approach to pre-construction are vital for success.
