The role
Lead the design, development, and deployment of end-to-end search systems powered by NLP, ranking, and cross-modal modeling.
Own components such as query understanding, result ranking, and query recommendation, delivering low-latency, reliable services.
Drive technical strategy and iterations to improve search quality, recall, and user engagement.
Provide mentorship and technical leadership across the team, guiding best practices in ML, IR, and system design.
Advance state-of-the-art NLP tasks from tokenization to named entity recognition and user intent understanding, with cross-modal techniques.
Operate within a large-scale distributed environment, optimizing offline workflows and online services for billions of requests.
