The role
A Compliance Consultant in Southampton provides expert advice on UK general insurance regulation and FCA requirements, ensuring regulatory policies are understood and properly implemented. They support compliance activities, manage relationships with regulators, and prepare governance reports for senior management. The role involves reviewing financial promotions, monitoring compliance risks, and delivering compliance governance reports. Candidates need proven experience in UK general insurance compliance and strong understanding of FCA regulations such as Consumer Duty and PROD. They should be able to communicate effectively and influence senior stakeholders, representing compliance in various forums and committees. This position allows working in a hybrid setting, with one day per week in the office, and offers a contract duration of 12 months.
