The role
A Principal Network Engineer in Warwickshire is responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting complex enterprise and operational technology network solutions. The role involves collaborating with Solution Architects and engineering teams to deliver resilient, secure services and produce detailed technical documentation. The engineer provides technical leadership in routing, switching, cybersecurity, and infrastructure technologies, guiding project delivery and supporting governance processes. They address complex technical challenges, mentor team members, and ensure operational and security standards are maintained. Operating across enterprise IT and OT environments, the professional communicates effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in critical infrastructure sectors is beneficial, alongside strong technical expertise and relevant certifications.
