The role

As an AI Engineering Undergraduate Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with agentic AI and on-device intelligence on production-class client platforms.
You will help build AI assistants that run primarily on device (CPU/GPU/NPU), prioritizing privacy, latency, and power efficiency.
You will implement agentic workflows (tools, memory, planning) and integrate model APIs to enable autonomous, context-aware assistance within desktop apps.
You will develop desktop client features in WPF (.NET) or Electron (JavaScript/TypeScript), contributing UI/UX improvements and instrumentation for real-world usage.
You will build or extend backend services that orchestrate models, manage data flows, and support hybrid client–edge–cloud patterns, while evaluating models through experiments and telemetry.
You will collaborate with senior engineers and researchers across the global CTO team to deliver proofs-of-concept and lighthouse AI PC use cases.
