The role
A neurotrauma solicitor handles high-value personal injury claims related to brain and spinal cord injuries, working independently and within a team to manage complex litigation and pre-litigation cases. The role involves liaising with case managers, rehabilitation providers, and medical professionals to ensure the best outcomes for clients. Responsibilities include investigating liability, reviewing medical and therapy documentation, and preparing schedules of loss, alongside court applications and hearings. Essential skills include knowledge of the CPR, medical issues relevant to neurological injuries, and extensive experience in quantum calculations. The candidate should possess strong interpersonal and advocacy skills, with a network within the neurotrauma sector, and be willing to work flexibly to support clients and case objectives.
