The role
A freelance Domestic Energy Assessor is responsible for conducting energy assessments and creating Energy Performance Certificates for properties. They need to possess excellent communication skills, be punctual, reliable and capable of working independently. Fluency in English, along with a valid Assessor ID, is essential, and they should hold up-to-date DBS, Disclosure Scotland, or AccessNI certificates, as well as public liability and professional indemnity insurance. The assessor interprets technical guidelines and utilises relevant assessment tools to evaluate properties' energy performance. This role promotes flexible working hours and the ability to accept or decline appointments based on location preferences.
