The role
A Senior Business Analyst within the agency's Data function is responsible for defining business needs and analytical requirements to support high-quality insights and decision-making. They collaborate with Data Analysts, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to shape and deliver analytical products that offer tangible business value. The role involves analysing business processes, translating needs into structured requirements, and working within Agile frameworks to ensure incremental delivery. They support the release and operation of analytical products, ensuring clarity of ownership and issue resolution routes. The position requires knowledge of business analysis methods, experience with data and analytical tools such as Power BI, and the ability to communicate complex concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
