The role
The Senior Operations Manager oversees the operational delivery of HS2 fencing projects, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance standards are met. They lead cross-functional teams including project, site, and operations managers, fostering continuous improvement and operational efficiencies. The role involves managing stakeholder relationships, monitoring project performance through KPIs, and ensuring subcontractor performance aligns with safety and quality standards. They are responsible for resource planning, budget control, and supporting project growth within the HS2 framework. The candidate must possess extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure projects and strong leadership skills, with knowledge of safety regulations and environmental commitments. They will report to senior leadership, providing updates and ensuring lessons learned are incorporated into future operations.
