The role
An experienced industrial engineer is sought to develop and improve manufacturing processes, focusing on productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency within a major automotive production environment. The role involves collaborating with various teams to meet manufacturing targets and support innovation and growth initiatives. Responsibilities include process design, layout planning, and standard operating procedures creation. The engineer will conduct capacity planning, labour analysis, and support new product launches through readiness activities. Leading continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is essential, alongside supporting product validation and operational efficiency efforts. Technical skills in process optimisation, capacity analysis, and manufacturing systems are expected, with a focus on delivering measurable improvements.
