The role
Skovgaard Solutions seeks a backend developer to design and maintain scalable, robust backend services and databases. The role involves leading the development of features from API design to deployment and monitoring, writing clean, testable code, and participating in code reviews to ensure high standards. Optimising database queries, reducing latency, and maintaining system scalability are core responsibilities. The candidate will collaborate with front-end engineers and product teams to deliver comprehensive solutions efficiently. Proven experience in building server-side systems with technologies like Python, Node.js, Java, C#, or Go is essential, along with knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and API design. Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines, along with strong communication skills, are highly desirable.
