Research Fellow – Statistical Data Scientist

A Research Fellow position is available within the Big Data in Health Group at the University of Southampton, focusing on analysing health data related to temperature extremes and multimorbidity. The role involves conducting statistical analyses of CPRD and HES datasets to assess health risks, and preparing findings for publications, presentations, and visualisations. The successful candidate will contribute to monthly meetings, training initiatives, and collaborative projects, working independently with strong organisational skills. Expertise in health data analysis, especially CPRD, is essential, along with epidemiological knowledge and communication skills. The role is initially funded for 15 months with opportunities for extension, contributing to impactful health policy research.
