The role
A six-month fixed-term role is available for a paediatric neurologist based at Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital, covering regional neuro services within NESCANN. The role includes clinical duties such as ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and care responsibilities, with a 1:3 day and 1:5 out-of-hours rota shared across the region. Candidates should have extensive experience, UK GMC registration, and either CCT or be within six months of CCT in paediatric neurology. Skills in research, audit, team leadership, and emergency management are desirable, along with teaching experience. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to regional paediatric neurology care.
