The role
A qualified maintenance plumber is sought to join NHS Grampian Estates Department in Aberdeen to support hospital and healthcare facility maintenance with expertise in water hygiene, drainage systems, and water service installation. The role involves working as part of an in-house team, with duties including operation, maintenance, and system installation across various trades. Candidates must have completed an apprenticeship and have experience working within a maintenance team, including legionella control (SHMT 04-01) and water system operations. The position offers a band 4 salary, a permanent contract, and opportunities for career progression, with training provided for specialised tasks. Work is based at the Foresterhill campus, with additional responsibilities around on-call duties and adherence to health and safety standards.
