The role
A network engineer with at least three years of experience supporting complex, highly available network environments is sought to work across diverse technologies including Cisco ACI, Nexus, Catalyst switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, VPNs, and cloud connectivity. The role involves operational support and project delivery within a critical public sector environment, maintaining connectivity across multiple data centres and cloud services. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills are essential to resolve technical issues and collaborate with stakeholders. A Cisco CCNP or equivalent qualification is preferred, with training available for broader skills; experience covering LAN, WAN, security, and VoIP technologies is highly advantageous. The environment is regionally spread with occasional travel required to different sites; a methodical approach to technical problems and the ability to adapt to a varied technology landscape are needed for success.
