The role
Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical building systems for mission-critical facilities, including data centers and technical spaces.
Develop technical specifications, load calculations, layouts, 3D models, and construction drawings for HVAC, chilled water, air distribution, and related systems.
Perform thermal load calculations, fluid flow analyses, and equipment sizing for chillers, pumps, CRAHs/CRACs, and piping networks.
Ensure designs comply with ASHRAE, IMC, IPC, NFPA, and local codes; coordinate with electrical, structural, controls, and architectural teams for integrated designs.
Lead field investigations, commissioning support, submittals review, procurement packages, and on-site installation oversight; mentor junior engineers.
Drive continuous improvement and evaluate emerging HVAC technologies to improve efficiency, sustainability, and resiliency; support project delivery and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
