The role
The position involves designing, developing, configuring, and supporting enterprise API integration and gateway services using Java, Python, and Kong API Gateway. Responsibilities include maintaining API components, configuring routes and plugins, implementing security and monitoring measures, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure standards and operational excellence. The candidate should have strong technical skills in Java, Python, REST APIs, and troubleshooting, alongside experience with CI/CD, API security, and monitoring tools. They must support production environments with disciplined incident and change management, and possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in regulated environments, automation, cloud, or deployment migration projects is also valued.
