The role
Lead the design and delivery of overhead and underground electric distribution systems, including planning, layout, and detailed design.
Coordinate construction packages, plan/profile drawings, structure assemblies, staking tables, bills of materials, and related deliverables.
Mentor and supervise junior engineers and designers, perform quality control, and drive knowledge sharing and process improvements.
Conduct engineering analyses and develop design options, including load, short-circuit, arc flash, and lighting calculations.
Engage with clients during design reviews, lead meetings, and assist with cost estimates and project schedules.
Utilize design tools such as PLS-CADD, AutoCAD/MicroStation, ArcGIS, and related software while applying NESC standards and performing field visits.
