The role
Dispense medications accurately in ambulatory care settings, adhering to NYS Pharmacy Laws and organizational policies.
Provide comprehensive drug information, patient counseling, and vaccination services to patients and healthcare providers.
Maintain precise records, ensure on-site pharmacy technology is up-to-date, and manage inventory through regular cycles.
Supervise Pharmacy Technicians to uphold quality standards and participate in waste, fraud, and abuse controls.
Engage in professional development with continuing education and annual competency assessments.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, document clinical interventions, and mentor students as required.
