The role
As a founding AI/ML Research Engineer, you will shape the core technical direction across model selection, training strategy, and long-term architecture.
You will design and own end-to-end training pipelines—from data collection to evaluation and inference—delivering production-ready systems.
You’ll prototype new model architectures or adapt frontier open-source models, and apply state-of-the-art fine-tuning methods such as LoRA/QLoRA, SFT, DPO, and distillation.
You will architect scalable inference stacks using vLLM, TensorRT-LLM, and DeepSpeed, and build data systems for high-quality synthetic and real-world training data.
You’ll develop alignment, safety, and guardrail strategies while shaping evaluation frameworks across performance, robustness, safety, and bias.
This role emphasizes ownership and fast iteration in a zero-to-one context, empowering you to influence early product direction and product-ready AI experiences.
