The role
We are seeking an Android Developer to build and maintain production Android apps where AI is a core part of the user experience.
This role focuses on performance, reliability, and thoughtful UX for AI-heavy interactions, not thin-client glue code.
Work with Kotlin to implement AI-powered features (chat, vision, voice, recommendations) via backend APIs.
Design UX patterns for streaming responses, retries, and partial results while optimizing memory usage and responsiveness.
Instrument analytics, logging, and feedback to support AI evaluation and iteration, and collaborate with backend and ML engineers on API contracts.
Ensure app stability, security, and scalability in production environments even under latency and partial failure scenarios.
