The role
The manufacturing process engineer in Goole will develop, implement, and document assembly processes, facilities, tooling, jigs, and fixtures to meet safety, quality, and cost targets. They will lead detailed process planning, including build simulations and risk assessments, to ensure modern assembly standards are met. The engineer will manage installation and manufacturing timing plans, collaborating with suppliers and supporting reporting activities. They will verify and validate assembly processes and equipment at supplier sites and within JLR facilities, ensuring capability and availability. Supporting programme delivery, they will resolve technical and manufacturing issues and contribute across engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams. The role requires effective cross-functional teamwork, technical problem-solving skills, and proficiency in CAD tools like Catia V6 and Teamcentre.
