The role
A large domestic plumbing repairs and maintenance specialist is hiring plumbers to join their established team in Southampton. The role involves working on private domestic properties within the SO, BH, or PO postcode areas depending on the applicant's location. The successful candidate will undertake reactive repairs, maintenance, and associated plumbing tasks, with a focus on quality service. Essential skills include proven experience in domestic plumbing repairs and holding a recognised plumbing qualification, or demonstrating equivalent skills. The position offers a full-time, permanent schedule with a 1 in 12 call-out rota, including some weekend work and potential for overtime earnings. A reasonably clean driving licence and DBS check are required, with higher rates for advanced skills and qualifications.
