The role
A senior accountant is sought to join an independent firm of chartered accountants in Birmingham. The role involves managing a portfolio of clients, preparing and reviewing statutory accounts according to UK GAAP and FRS standards, and assisting with management accounts. The successful candidate will review bookkeeping work, respond to client queries, and support VAT and tax processes, ensuring deadlines are met. They should possess ACA or ACCA qualification or equivalent experience, with proven practice experience and strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards. The position requires experience in account review and client portfolio management, operating within a technologically advanced environment.
