The role

On-site role to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical and electrical components of baggage handling systems (BHS) and passenger boarding bridges (PBB). Responsibilities include diagnosing motors, electrical circuits, SICK ATR systems, and conveyors using schematics and manuals; interpreting engineering drawings; performing preventive maintenance, inspections, adjustments, cleaning, and replacements; responding to control room service calls; analyzing root causes of failures and implementing remedies; and coordinating with leads and teams to ensure safe, on-time operation. Must be proficient in single-phase 110V and familiar with 3-phase 480V, and be able to weld with certification to support mechanical repairs. Ability to work autonomously or with a crew, communicate status, and complete follow-up work orders. Physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds, working near jet bridges and conveyors, and adhering to strict safety and security protocols in a 24/7 airport environment. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; eligible for airport badge; background check and drug screen required.
