The role
A data/business analyst based in Cardiff supports data project delivery across strategic clients, working remotely and on-site. The position involves leading analysis activities, documenting data requirements, and collaborating with stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure precise specifications. Responsibilities include gathering requirements for data pipelines, facilitating workshops, managing data glossaries, and maintaining documentation. Candidates should possess over five years of experience, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with data processes such as ETL, schema mapping, and MI/BI reporting. Skills in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and knowledge of Agile practices are essential, with additional certifications such as SAFe or DMBOK advantageous. Knowledge of SQL, Python, Snowflake, and industry experience in travel is desirable for the role.
