The role
The role involves delivering high-quality medical care within a specialised trauma-informed mental health service for adults with complex needs and autism spectrum disorders. The doctor will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised treatment plans, conduct assessments, and review patients' medical requirements. Responsibilities include ensuring safe, effective patient-centred care and maintaining accurate medical records, while contributing to service improvements. Suitable applicants will hold a medical degree registered with the GMC and have completed specialty training in psychiatry or related fields. The position requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to evidence-based practice, with experience in complex mental health conditions preferred.
