The role
As a Cost Accountant, provide cost accounting and financial support for manufacturing operations, including cost systems, product costing, and KPI reporting.
Maintain cost controls and standard costing, perform variance analysis (material, labor, overhead), and ensure accurate inventory valuation.
Lead cycle counts, reconcile perpetual and financial inventory, track fixed assets, and monitor capital project costs.
Develop and deliver computer-generated reports, support audits and SOX controls, and explain variances with data-driven insights.
Collaborate with manufacturing engineering, planning, purchasing, and marketing to ensure proper cost data for new parts and proposals.
Requires strong Excel and ERP experience, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to travel up to 10%.
