The role
Maintenance Electrician responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of electrical and automation systems in a high-temperature industrial environment.
Diagnose and repair high-voltage distribution, PLC-controlled machinery, motors, drives, and instrumentation used in aluminum production.
Perform predictive maintenance and thermal imaging to minimize downtime across furnaces, hot mill, cold mill, annealing, and finishing operations.
Ensure safety and compliance with LOTO, NFPA 70E, arc flash mitigation, and accurate CMMS maintenance logging.
Support installations and upgrades of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, control panels, and energy efficiency initiatives.
Work on rotating shifts, in confined spaces, near high-temperature equipment, requiring strong problem-solving and teamwork.
