The role
Based in Denver, CO, the role seeks a Multimedia Journalist to research, write, shoot, and edit stories for television and digital platforms.
Develop story ideas from assignments and tips through interviews, observation, and thorough research.
Organize material, determine emphasis, and write according to editorial standards; shoot video and stills to illustrate stories.
Edit videos for all platforms (Final Cut Pro or similar) and assist online teams in publishing multimedia content.
Appear on-air for taped interviews or narration and provide live reports from the scene or mobile unit; collaborate with photographers and producers.
Must possess strong AP style writing, proficiency with newsroom systems, a fast-paced, deadline-driven work style, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; valid driver's license.
