The role
Prepare detailed cost estimates for public sector projects using PDFs, blueprints, and Job Order Contracting (JOC) requirements.
Perform quantity takeoffs and data entry in estimating software, with benchmarking against current market rates.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to validate project scope and specifications.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive cost database and vendor relationships to ensure timely, accurate data.
Coordinate bid preparation and deliver complete, well-organized estimates to project management.
Utilize Sage Estimating, On-Screen Takeoff, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
