The role
A Cloud Engineer is responsible for managing and optimising IT platforms across on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring system stability and high availability. The role involves troubleshooting complex issues, automating tasks through scripting, and maintaining documentation. Candidates should have experience with cloud technologies such as GCP, M365, and AVD, along with skills in Active Directory, Group Policy, and log monitoring tools like Splunk. Knowledge of Citrix XenServer, Virtual Apps, Entra ID, and Exchange Online is desirable. The engineer works within the IT operations team to support platform infrastructure, implement continuous improvements, and enable efficient incident resolution.
