The role
Lead and manage a transportation team of drivers and logistics specialists to consistently meet service level agreements.
Ensure full compliance with company standards and legal requirements while monitoring budgets and reporting variances.
Coordinate day-to-day site operations, interface with customers, and provide practical solutions to issues.
Uphold safety and security policies and drive change management and continuous improvement.
Demonstrate strong people management, independence, and ability to develop relationships with key stakeholders.
Utilize routing systems, track packages, manage data flow in the transport department, and translate divisional strategy into actions.
