The role
The Mechanical Engineer will design and oversee mechanical systems for data centers and mission-critical facilities from concept through construction.
Lead the schematic design, development of construction documents, specifications, and engineering calculations.
Coordinate with clients, project managers, electrical, architectural and other disciplines; conduct site investigations and manage RFIs.
Provide construction administration, QA/QC, shop drawing reviews, change orders, and support for addenda.
Mentor junior engineers, foster collaboration, and ensure code compliance and opportunities for sustainable design.
Requirements include a BS in Mechanical Engineering, PE license, 3+ years of mechanical design experience in commercial or institutional facilities, and proficiency with MS Office and Trane TRACE or similar software.
