The role
Oversee the benefits accounting function, including healthcare, pension, and OPEB, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance.
Own the monthly close process for benefits, delivering timely financial statements and reconciliations.
Prepare and review Form 5500 filings and quarterly/annual regulatory reporting as required.
Coordinate with operating units and auditors, providing analysis on healthcare and retirement accounts and addressing inquiries.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and the accounting for benefit-related transactions with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
Lead, supervise, and develop a high-performing team while fostering cross-functional collaboration.
