The role
Develop end-to-end factory layouts optimized for flow, takt, and throughput across manual, semi-automated, and automated lines.
Create value stream maps and labor models, define cell structures, and design material flow to support rapid production ramp.
Build detailed production rate models aligned to demand forecasts; compute takt time, cycle time, throughput, bottlenecks, and OEE targets.
Plan multi-scenario capacity (surge, dual-source, ramp) and articulate headcount and capital requirements with ROI justification.
Lead lean manufacturing implementation, standard work, waste reduction, and provide MES integration and digital production tracking.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (supply chain, facilities, quality, EHS) to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and successful factory launches.
