The role

This in-house role provides transactional and corporate legal support for insurance-focused M&A activities, including acquisitions, divestitures, and strategic transactions, and reports to the General Counsel. It serves as the lead drafter and negotiator for transaction documents such as purchase agreements, letters of intent, term sheets, and related documents. It conducts insurance-specific due diligence—regulatory, operational, and commercial—and manages closing and post-closing matters. The role collaborates with internal stakeholders to identify legal and business risks and provides practical, solutions-oriented guidance. It drafts and negotiates a range of corporate and commercial agreements for the insurance business, including confidentiality agreements, vendor contracts, and strategic partnerships. It provides ongoing governance, finance, and insurance operations support, ensuring consistent, high-quality legal advice across transactional and corporate matters.
