R&D Specialist, Packaging

Under R&D supervision, lead packaging-focused product development from concept to prototype and commercialization, ensuring alignment with customer needs. Develop, test, and optimize formulations for packaging, including traditional and creative soup profiles. Select and source new materials, negotiate costs, and maintain/update vendor lists to drive material cost reductions. Design and evaluate products for shelf-life stability, flavor, color, texture, and nutritional content; conduct analyses and present results. Collaborate with process engineers, plant management, marketing, and external customers to keep projects on schedule and within budget; run production trials. Ensure compliance with labeling and additive regulations; prepare documentation, standard formulations/processes, and manage lab materials and inventory.
