The role
The University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time Associate Professor position in the Department of Applied Psychology and Human Development at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. or equivalent in Clinical and/or Counselling Psychology from a CPA or APA accredited programme and be registered or eligible for registration with Ontario's College of Psychologists. The role involves developing a recognised research programme, engaging in teaching, and contributing to departmental activities, with a focus on social justice and innovative approaches including digital mental health. Candidates are expected to demonstrate research excellence through publications, presentations, awards, and strong endorsement letters. Teaching responsibilities include supervision and curriculum development, necessitating experience in psychological assessment or therapeutic interventions. The appointee will lead and sustain independent research, seeking external funding and collaborating within a dynamic academic environment.
