The role

As an Oil Burner Technician, perform annual tune-ups and cleanings on oil-fired boilers, furnaces, and hot water heaters.
Diagnose and repair burners, pumps, controls, and heat exchangers; replace nozzles, filters, ignition transformers, and electrodes.
Conduct efficiency tests, adjust combustion settings, and perform safety checks to ensure optimal performance.
Install new or replacement oil heating equipment and hot water systems; respond to emergency no-heat calls and troubleshoot failures.
Requires 2+ years of experience with oil-fired heating systems and EPA or state oil burner certification; valid driver's license.
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform duties outdoors; strong customer communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
