The role
The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to storage features for containers and virtual machines within OpenShift and related ecosystems.
You will work across Kubernetes, OpenShift, KubeVirt, Libvirt, and QEMU to design and deliver upstream features.
Responsibilities include developing, reviewing, and delivering high-quality code; participating in CI, security responses, and code reviews.
Collaborate with engineers, QE, and support teams to resolve issues and ensure reliability and performance.
Share progress through blogs, talks, and community contributions; engage with container and virtualization communities.
Requirements include Linux expertise, GitHub, and proficiency in at least one language (Golang, Python, or C/C++), plus experience with Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift and storage or virtualization technologies.
