The role
A live-in carer provides personal and practical support to clients in their home, working shifts typically lasting 10-12 hours, including rest periods. The role involves tasks such as personal hygiene, medication management, light housework, and mobility assistance while fostering companionship and emotional wellbeing. Candidates should have strong communication skills and sensitivity, with knowledge of health and safety policies and basic medical procedures. The position requires completion of an Enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship. Carers work closely with support teams, document care activities, and respond to clients’ individual needs securely and compassionately.
